Dr. Swaminathan SivaramDr. Swaminathan Sivaram an Indian polymer chemist, inventor, institution builder and a former director of the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. Dr. Sivaram is presently an INSA Senior Scientist and Honorary Professor at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, India. He holds the highest number of US patents by an Indian working outside the US. He is a fellow of several significant scientific organizations. Dr. Sivaram is highly decorated scientist with many awards to his credit, including the coveted civilian honour, Padma Shri. He is member of Board of Directors of many renowned Indian chemical companies.
