Recently the “India - Argentina Business Forum’ was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), & Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Notable world personalities namely his excellency, Mr. Mauricio Macri, Hon’ble President of the Republic of Argentina & Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Government of India, were the chief guests at the event.The Indian Industry was invited to invest in Argentina and highlight the untapped potential present in both countries.

Mr. Macri talked about strengthening business relations with India in the field of Defence, Space, Nuclear energy, Renewable energy, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, and Mining. Mr. Suresh Prabhu (Minister of Commerce and Industry) also addressed the audience touching various aspects of business opportunities and possibilities of a trade agreement. In this forum, Mr. Shishir Joshipur shared the stage with the Argentinian President. Mr. Joshipura presented the vote of thanks and concluded the general forum by thanking President Macri and Mr. Suresh Prabhu and acknowledged the increasing interest of Argentina in the field of bioenergy and biofuels.  Praj’s Executive Chairman Mr. Pramod Chaudhari, also participated in the business event.
